New Java Chat!

Posted by Wild Bill , 09 Aug 2003
I've heard of problems with PureZC's Java IRC client giving "Ask the webmaster to register it!" messages, so I've found another Java Chat, PJIRC, and replaced the Java Chat. This one automatically logs you into #PureZC with your name on PureZC. It's also a much much more capable client than the other one, and supports smilies, multiple channels (so you can visit our friends at #ZCN and #GU!), and more. If you have been using Java Chat as an alternative to IRC software, I think you'll like this change.

New month, new poll, new tiles

Posted by Wild Bill , 31 Jul 2003
It's August at last. That means a lot of our members will be going back to school, which sucks.

But it doesn't mean we won't have more tiles. Today we have 3 additions:
1. Briefcase tiles, by Viremaster
2. Triangle Mountains, by Jonathan
3. Ice and Snow Tiles, by kidso

Since it's a new month, we also have a new poll. I think you'll all find this month's poll to be amusing. And as usual, you can see the results for last month's poll in the Old Polls page.

Win Rupees at ZCN from SotW

Posted by Fox , 28 Jul 2003
Pure Zelda Classic and Zelda Classic Network have always been close. After all, they are both Zelda Classic fan sites. But now they will be closer than ever. Starting this week, people who win Screenshot of the Week here at PZC will win 250 rupees over at ZCN! Also, those who win Screenshot of the Month (where all the winners of the month compete against one another) will win 500 rupees at ZCN! This will bring both sites closer together while at the same time increasing the stakes and the excitement here at PZC. If you aren't signed up at both of these dedicated web sites, now is your perfect opportunity.

A new approach!

Posted by Wild Bill , 26 Jul 2003
System Error has taken a new approach to the treasure chest fad. He has created Treasure Chest Houses. Now your character can climb into gigantic treasure chests the locals call home! As usual, you can find these tiles in the Treasure Chest subdivision of the Loose Tiles section.

Chests!

Today I've added a new set of treasure chests by Flippedupmonkey. This set contains new black evil looking chests. This means that we have 13 treasure chest packs in the Loose Tiles section. Isn't that wonderful?
