Zelda Classic Downloads

Our Zelda Classic Downloads are back and better than before. I've removed the hotlinking script, which was causing problems for users of Internet Exploiter and users who do not allow HTTP referrer logging. If I find somebody hotlinking to them (which has happened to other people in the past), the hotlink blocking script will have to return. We will be adding downloads for other Zelda Classic versions as soon as Teilyr figures out my script. Hey, I'd do it, but I don't wanna have to upload over 3 MB over my pathetic dialup.

Trudatman has submitted his quest, HowHigh.qst for 1.90, and it has been added to the 1.90 quests section. Go play it if you haven't.Ian submitted some new Mega Man sprites today. They look very well drawn, so have a look.
On another note, if anybody notices that they cannot post comments on stuff on the site, this is due to a new security feature. You must have a certain number of posts to add comments. This will aid in the prevention of comment spamming, as the comments are much more difficult to moderate than the forums. We apologize for the inconvenience to any of those who aren't big posters.

I have just added several midis from both Espilan and MidiMan. Due to the fact it was so many, you would be better off just visiting the "Newest Music" section and having a look. Also, there were some other submissions, but I could not get to them at the moment. They will be put up later.

I have completely recoded PureZC's main site from the ground up. This will make everything much easier for me to maintain, as I no longer have a crappy mess of code to deal with. Here's some of the new features:- More efficient coding.
- Improved members page, which shows your highest rated content.
- Greatly improved submission wizard, which allows old submissions to be updated.
- Brand new Music section! Our music section is for new music only, so it won't be a copy of the Video Game Music Archive. We kick off this section with 8 midis/sets from Espilan.
- We are now accepting new tilesets. If you have been waiting to submit a tileset since we disabled it several weeks ago, your wait is over.
- New options. They're no longer cookie based, so only members can use them.
- New comments interface, shown at the bottom of content pages. No more popup windows!
- Improved affiliates page, now with a random affiliate link on the bottom of the menu.
- You can now sort content by the average rating.
- History of PureZC page.
- Choose a poll to view from the pulldown below the poll. This is cookie based!
- List of new topics at the bottom of the updates page.
- VALID HTML 4.01 Transitional.
I hope everybody enjoys the new site and the new features!
Update: I just found out that sorting by highest rating does not work as intended. This is a technical problem, and I do not see a solution at this point. Due to this, I have removed the "Rating" sort options, and the member's page now shows your newest content and their ratings. As soon as I figure out a solution, rating sorting will be back.
