Tiles and a Quest!

Posted by Kite , 08 Mar 2004
I have added two submissions today.

First off, we have an OoT Title Screen Template by Teilyr. Second, we have a long awaited remix of the classic first quest in LTTP tiles, Orion's LightWorld by Marcus (Orion).

Enjoy!

ZC Downloads on Initialized

Posted by Wild Bill , 05 Mar 2004
Initialized is now hosting Zelda Classic downloads for us. You may get to these downloads by following these steps:

1. Use an IRC client (PureZC's Java Chat will suffice if you don't have one) to connect to irc.initialized.org:6667.
2. Enter /msg FileServ start.
3. After accepting the DCC, in the FileServ "chat" window/tab enter cd PureZC/ZC/.
4. Enter ls.
5. Enter get [file], file being the file you wish to get.

While you're on Initialized, be sure to check out some of the great channels available.

Look... New Stuff.

Shashomaru has submitted some arrow tiles for Newfirst as well as modified Newfirst Tileset using F-Zero sprites and tiles.

PolygonX8 has submitted a new hookshot.

Jaivaz has submitted some mask/tree/beach tiles.

And Xpertgmer has submitted a new midi: "Dripping Stalagmites"

Enjoy.

Down again

Posted by Wild Bill , 29 Feb 2004
The site was down again because we ran out of bandwidth. I think most of this bandwidth was Google crawlers. However, I have changed two other things to try to solve our bandwidth issues:

1. Zelda Classic downloads have been removed. Until I can get us more bandwidth, we cannot support these.
2. Forum avatars and uploads have been protected. I have found several forums with people who have hotlinked to PureZC's avatars. Permission to see avatars will only be granted if they are displayed on pages at PureZC. If you cannot see the avatars, it is your problem, not ours.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

New ZC File

We have added the Windows player for the second release of Zelda Classic 1.92 Alpha 184. This release varies from the player that has been distributed at AGN for the last few days. It contains more fixes and actually acknowledges itself as Alpha 184 in the about dialog.

Enjoy.
