Again, my connection has been sluggish lately, and I appologize for the late update.

But, I would like to bring up something. Lately many people have not been doing several things that we kindly ask for in submissions. Note that these aren't requirements, but if you do this for the Site Staff, our job for updates would be a lot easier.

One is about uploading the main part of your submission. Could you please put it in a zip file? All files loaded onto the site for the public has to be in a zip file. If the file is already in a zip, it just saves us that much time. The second issue is screenshots for the site. Screenshots that I (and other Site Staff) have to upload have to in gif. Many people leave pics in bmp form. It takes you much less time to convert your images than it does for us to convert everyone's images.

Again, this are requests, not requirements. Thank you.

You might have noticed that the ":\" and ":/" smilies don't work. Why is that? Because they have been switched at some point to ":-\" and ":-/". So, incase any of you were wondering why those two smilies weren't working... now you know.

From Happyman: Apparently neither IPB nor the site is very fond of the backslash character... causes minor glitches here and there. So I took the ":-\" back out.

That's all for now. I apologize for updating late. I was hopeing my connection would get back up to it's normal speed, but it didn't. I just finally decided to go ahead.

Also, several submissions were deleted. If one of your submissions was one of those, PM me and I'll tell you why. Sorry, it's just been a long night.

But, I would like to remind everyone that the PureZC Expo is only 2 weeks away! I only have 1 submission so far, and I'ld prefer not having to postpone it a week because of a lack of submissions.

So work hard and get those submissions to me via PM with your images (preferably all in a zip file), any text you want in the submission (you might want to put it all in quote tags and put in the formatting. That way you get it up exactly how you want it. ) and a link to the demo (remember that demos have to be hosted by yourself). Submissions are due on Wednesday October 26 (2 weeks from today). The Expo will be posted the Sunday thereafter (October 30th).

I want this Expo to be a success, so everyone work hard on getting their submissions done!

Oh, I would also like to remind everyone to enter Tile of the Week #4. Sephiroth says that since he started it around a month ago that it has been slowly dying. We don't want that to happen, do we? Send your submissions to Sephiroth by Midnight on Saturday (CST). The theme is sprites!
