256 color tiles

Posted by Kite , 05 Dec 2006
The current beta build of ZQuest (and some previous builds) has the ability to work with more than a single cset for a tile. This is common referred to as "256 color" tiles. As such, people have started submitting tiles for this. I hate to be blunt, but I'm afraid I must:

Using "256 color" tiles does not mean you can just submit an image that has no palette organization at all. In other words, you cannot be LAZY by using this as an excuse to ignore any sort of color structure!

I'm afraid we must add a new requirement due to this. If you are submitting loose tiles that use 256 colors, you must provide AT LEAST one screenshot of the tiles in ZQuest. If you don't want this screenshot to be included in the actual tile information, please make a note to us in the submission.

Thank you.

ONOS!

It's not really time yet for another update, but I felt like doing one anyway.

SO.

First, mudvayne posted a minor update to Power of Geduina. It's that new quest everyone seems to be talking about.

Second, we have some new tiles.

1) Matthew's first-ever tiles submission: Nayru Player Tiles.

2) Classic Roc's Feather by dlbrooks34

3) UPDATE: Zero Link Jump Tiles, also by dlbrooks34

4) 8-bit Swords and Shields, by TheMasterSwordsman

Yup, tiny update.
