... I started reading the New York Times on my living room sofa. I read it from cover to cover.

I just finished it ten minutes ago. It was the best newspaper I have ever read. It had thrills, chills, suspense, zombies, politicians, and Dragons in lingerie. (Though to be fair, the last three were one and the same.) Once had completed this epic journey of literature, I had discovered that I had an even greater task ahead of me: This mid-May site update!

So I put on my fedora, downed the half-shot of Shirley Temple, got into my car, drove half a block, forgot where I was going, and ran back home to do this site update.

Hey, everyone. It sure has been a while since the last time I posted an update on the main site.

If you haven't been keeping up with announcements on the forums, Wild Bill has recently allowed LinktheMaster and myself to go about the long awaited process of updating the site. This is going to include updating or changing the forum software. But more importantly, this means that the main site will be having a major overhaul in the future.

If you have questions about what is going on, this forum topic has more information. You can also feel free to ask questions or make bug fix and feature requests.

In the meantime, we've already made some fixes to the current website.

- Sorting by Type in the Music section is fixed.
- 2.10 and 2.50 searching options have been added for the Quests and Tilesets sections.
- The IRC chat server information on the site has been updated to Bladerock's newer url.

I know these are relatively minor things right now, but the site overhaul isn't going to happen overnight. We'll be bringing up more information about what we are planning as it gets hammered out.

This update is in memory of 1974, when Richard Nixon resigned from his presidency. And now to be less political, here are the most recent submissions.
