This is very nice. Also there is an impressive amount of song. I think a lot of it quite is good, I like the groove.

I think the song gets a bit fatiguing, only in certain parts. Most notably the very beginning solo. I think this comes down to a few things:
  • Almost no rests in any of the melodies, which greatly contributes to...
  • No articulation in very long strings of 8th notes which makes it a bit fatiguing to listen to sometimes. Sometimes feels a little like listening to an arpeggiator. On sections where these long strings are prominent, it would probably serve you quite well to introduce even some crescendos or decrescendos. There's a lot of song here, so this would be quite high effort unless you have a really good MIDI composition tool that does this super easy (in which case you should PM me and tell me what you use). I'm not talking about long crescendos over entire phrases, I'm talking about swells in and swells out within a single measure.
As for what I like about this:
  • Like, 85% of it, I like the latter half more than the first half.
  • The ending is a nice change of pace.
  • It reminds me of this awesome song.
  • I like how early on in the song you have sort of a rhythmically off-kilter melody which immediately falls into place when the drums comes in. I love that effect.
