Illusory keep: Eh, nothing special. Sort of bland. 3 stars
Illusory keep DX: Again, does nothing to make itself stand out. 3 stars
Hydro mines: Very good, nice and energetic, though a bit disjointed. 4 stars
Hydro mines DX: More fluid, but a little... let's call it "weird" in spots. 4 stars
If you're going to make a twisted-geometry Satan-dungeon, by the way, you should probably save it for later in the quest.
The Bladed Triad Set
Description:
This is a set with four MIDIs, two are originals, two are updated versions. The originals were to be used in a quest I was working on before the one mentioned in the "Sidewinder!" description, but I've but it on a (probably) indefinite hold.
These songs are slightly old compared to my other submissions to this site, so I'm not really expecting them to do well compared to the others.
Illusory Keep: This was the first dungeon. Major items were the Lens of Truth, the Red Candle, the Boomerang, and Bombs were found just outside the invisible second entrance. It had a freaking screwed up map that was completely unreliable because of constant use of Warps, and many places used the Lens to see the path, locate the hidden door, etc.
Hydro Mines: If I had any of the Oracle of Ages/Seasons track tiles, this would have really been made to look like a mine... ...It was an underground mine which had been mostly flooded (hence the name). Major items included the Hammer, the Flippers, and the Hookshot (which I had the stupid idea of putting THAT in Illusory Keep and requiring the Hammer to reach it).
Gearshift Hall (MIDI not included): Gearshift hall was another underground dungeon, and used the "Rising Thunders" MIDI. In this level, conveyors and pits were the constant. Major items were the Short Bow and Arrows.
Credits:
None.

Illusory keep: the picciccato strings merge with the orchestra hits and guitars effectively. 5 stars
Illusory keep [DX]: Strings and Orchestra hits rule! The guitars blend it together nicely. 5 stars
Hydro Mines: Like last time...5 stars.
Hydro Mines [DX]: A piccolo and church organ? I never use those...But you managed to use them well. 4 stars.

Here's what mesa thinks.
1. This is nice but I'm not sure if Mines are the best place for them...the sound good for Mines but probably better for a castle.
2. Yet again...this sounds good for a castle...maybe a forest castle...but I can never really tell completely.
3. This would work yet again for a dungeon...but it would also sound OK in a cave.
4. Another dungeony midi...but it's good.
I also would like to ask you...why are you describing a quest in the midi section!?
