It's fun, but I think this quest has some flaws, so I'm going to give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Here are my reasons:

1. The Overworlds need more distinction. A palette swap would be the best way to go (make the brown green, and make the green brown. This way you could tell when you're in the other Overworld.
2. You need distinct entrances. It's too confusing with the item to 1st/dungeon to 2nd tricks.
3. The dungeons get a bit repetitive, I'm being able to predict them. Maybe putting some new enemies in the 4 and 5 parts might help, especially later.

I hope to finish it soon!

I still don't understand what is the big thing about this quest. All the dungeons are the same thing (+40)... and it has two identical overworlds, which is really annoying and disturbing.

Extremely well done. The randomization adds a humongous fun factor. Although I think that there are too many quiver and bomb bag upgrades, and transportation is a bit of a hassle at times. There are so many secrets added to be found, this is one of the best quests I have ever played. My favorite moment was when I FINALLY got the blue ring at around the 100th treasure mark(I found it in 5-9), I was almost jumping in my chair in joy!

5 stars for you!

The randomization is really fun, especially seeing it in LoZ. There are many, many new dungeons and they are really fun with great variety.

This quest is pure enjoyment with several dashes of excitement. There's no better thing than entering an item cellar and wondering what item appears in the next second.

During the beta process, I played this multiple times. It's a really fun distraction if you just want to sit down and casually play through a quest since the randomization mixes things up enough to where the gameplay experience is a little different every time. While some of the new dungeons are kind of odd, it's easy to find a shared theme in their design and begin anticipating how they will play out without too much difficulty.

But there is one issue I have with the core design of everything: the multiple overworlds. Having to traverse through two overworlds based on arbitrary entrances is not very intuitive. While I've basically memorized which entrances to go into to get to different overworlds by this point, that still doesn't make this a good design idea. I'm aware of the whistle warp on the first screen, but the issue still exists despite that (especially before you get the whistle). I think entrances should have been randomized a bit to make it where there is the possibility that you could run into a "new" dungeon or "new" cave on every new playthrough in a single overworld rather than just cramming every possible area into two overworlds. I know that would have taken even more work than the already impressive amount of work put into this, but I think the result would have made things even better.

Overall, I had a lot of fun playing this and I encourage others to try it out. A lot of thought was put into the randomization and it can produce some rather interesting playthroughs. It's also a fun way to try out all of the items new to Zelda Classic 2.50 while playing an actual quest if you haven't done so by this point.

This quest was great! Probably one of my favorite quests to date! I love the randomizer and how happ/upset I was when I found a new item! I have beaten this quest nearly all the way, and am almost done with (Spoiler: Zelda.)
Awesome!

If there's one quest that can make the original Z1 obsolete, it's this one. This quest is pretty much already legendary and will be for years.
