I like the good intentions and the concept in the quest, but the execution isn't specially inspired. There is a meh feeling all the way. After the terrible start, you can hear Link's Awakening music... in the rain? Translation: There are very little thought with the music choices. The dungeons lack interesting enemy combinations and the rooms designs are repetitive. It gets stale quickly. Add to all that, the abuse of one-way shutter doors and the unnecessary harsh save system... It's a chore to play this quest, and the lack of effort in the overall vibe... kill all the fun for me. There are some tiny bugs also.

This is an incredibly unique, challenging and engrossing quest that sucks you into it's very atypical structure and doesn't let go until you've made it through. The entire concept of four massive dungeons that can be completed in any order, but that should be completed simultaneously to give you virtually any chance of success, is well-executed. I would say this is one of the more overlooked games in the database. The design is phenomenal and complex. It's not perfect. I never could decide if I liked the save system although it certainly adds a layer of challenge to an already hard (at times very hard) game. The save dynamic, combined with enemies always returning, timed spike mazes, massive, multi-floor levels, and some brain-bending block puzzles, has this as maybe the hardest overall quest I've ever defeated this side of AQF or at least HoD. This one will challenge your mind and your fighting skills. There are places it could probably be toned down a bit, saves added, warps added, maybe doors staying open once puzzles are done, things to reduce frustration. But I'm picking nits. This is an amazing game and up there with the best custom quests I've ever played.

Very nice quest. The only thing that turned me off was the save system. Not the save system itself, but the fact there was no continue option which honestly had me lose so much progress at times and since the dungeons were so big it made it a hassle to regain progress. Definitely a fun quest.
