Spirited and desperate, for sure. This really sounds like an authentic video game song. You hit your mark perfectly.

I like it very much. And it does sound very synthetic. Sounds like it could possible be used in some kind of dungeon based on technology... Kind of like the inside of a big spaceship.

I'm still listening to this right now, but I honestly think that it not only works in a time situation, but would work in a final boss battle, as well.

Fairly good at what it does. I have trouble visualizing a timer with this song. It seems to go better with a timed scene without any numbers flashing at you, which is much rarer.

Oh well, I'll go with quality on the rating instead of usage.

Heh! A few of my works were started out with random notes. Eventually, they wouldn't be so random anymore as I begin to layer and counterpoint instruments.
Sigguy: Midis are not going to sound as pure as mp3's and wav's type music. Midis are notorius for their small and compact file size. Mp3 and Wav formats are huge files and not everyone will wait a couple of hours to download such file types. In short...stop comparing midi to Mp3s. Its like comparing apples to oranges. You need your own seperate standards for rating midis and mp3s.
Then again, maybe your sound card or Midi library has been altered and that's why none of the midis are sounding right. In fact, a midi song could sound dramatically different on different computers. This computer makes all midis sound with a strong bass and a weak treble. My computer at my parent's house has a strong Treble, but a weak bass.
Anyway...This song totally rocks...5 stars Espilan

Great "high-stakes bossfight" music. I think everyone can come up with a use for this one. *saved*

Good, but MIDI format doesn't sound as good.
