5/5
Most likely 'The Best Quest' ...ever made.
Theres just so much going on in this game, it’s almost unbelievable.
Mudvayne is a genius with level design. His puzzles are so well crafted and span multiple screens adding layers of complexity like no other designer on zc. *Level-7 is probably the greatest in the game, although both L3 & L4 are excellent and very challenging as well. Also the Mana music is so, so nice to hear across the game, along with the beautiful tiles he arranged bring it all together forming a true masterpiece.
Counting everything, this is by my estimation a perfect Zelda quest. (even though I dont understand a single word of it)
(Thank you Pascal for making this quest, along with Time After!)

I'll have to rate this quest for the amount that I've played it, without Avataro around, I am simply unable to continue until he returns, so this may end up being my official rating.
This quest is good, but it (like many of the top quests in this database) suffers with age. I can't wait to see through it to the end, but there are things I don't like about it which kinda hurts on its greatness.
The beginning story (based on the translation) is way too gruesome for a Zelda quest. It's kinda disturbingly written, and it is very unfitting. The quest overall doesn't feel as fun as I would like it to be, and again, it's probably due to the issue of it being a dated quest.
My opinions may chance once I progress through this quest further, but as for now, it's certainly not worthy of being #2 in the Quest database.

This is an interesting quest that unfortunately is limited by some of the bugs that plague it. First of all, be wary of playing this in 2.50 (though this may have been fixed by now, I'm not sure). There is a bug in the Black Pearl where if you dive to try to get to a chest, you basically lock yourself out of completing the game. mudvayne knew about this, but apparently never uploaded a fix onto PureZC.
Other than that, the overworld design is pretty nice, but you are sometimes forced to do really long backtracking. The dungeon design is also pretty good, and this had one of the strongest first dungeons I've seen in a ZC quest. It's definitely solid, and I had a lot of fun. Would have been a 5/5, but bugs forced me to drop it down to a 4/5.
