A Hero's Story

I love good dungeon design...the overworld isn't really a big factor me. If you are lookinh for an epic saga...nah, not here. However, the dungeon design is stellar. Chiefy says...5 stars!!!

At the woodland shrine you could put Forest temple Msng it will sound a bit better.

This is a good quest with well designed challenging dungeons with plenty of back-tracking. But I don't like that those wise men are spoiling what you will find in each dungeon and the overworld looks somewhat dull on various places and could use some more details.

I'm going to give it five in part to make up for Xavier's unfair three, but, it's darn close to earning five on it's own. The dungeons are diabolical and some of the best I've played, especially the epic final level, maybe my favorite final level ever. They do get a little tedious sometimes as you have to do the same rooms and solve the same puzzles over and over again (it might be nice if block puzzle doors stayed open), but, still, incredible dungeon design. It's got a perfect difficulty curve too, although the blue tunic is too expensive or acquired too late (take your pick).

The overworld is only so-so. Some borders would be nice. And I like when mini-dungeons house helpful non-required items and not just HCP. A few fixes and this could be a five-star, rate-with-the-best quest.

It's still pretty good though. And I've always preferred dungeons to overworld anyway.

Overall,the overworld lacks design & creativity. But the dungeons are well designed.Good effort though.

If a quest contains any of these words, it needs to get 5 stars, that is my experience.
I don't remember any exceptions.
This is surely not an exception.

I played this, and it's decent. But, you need to add screenshots, please. I don't rate anything more than 3 stars without screenshots, regardless of how much I like it.
