im using this to make my next quest and i can say that this tileset is wonderful. however a few bugs i encountered:
when you run into the armos he gets stuck in his own space because the armos combo does not change to the undercombo. yes, i checked that it was an armos type combo.
the custom enemies dont work
is this a problem with me or the tileset?
edit: i loaded the original tileset quest again and the custom enemies work there... i made my quest by deleting the maps in the quest i downloaded and then saving as a different quest. it should've still worked right?
another edit: i replaced the sign script already in there with a different sign script, so would that have cause the problem? its still in the same place and didnt effect the spots of the other scripts.

Information
Pure Tileset Basic is an updated version of Wild Bill's Pure Tileset V2 (Beta 182) that is designed to maintain the simplicity of the original Pure Tileset while setting things up to build a fully functional Zelda Classic 2.50 quest out of the box.
Note: Do not import this tileset as a Zelda Graphics Pack (ZGP). Graphics Packs lack several important settings such as Link Tile Mods. Instead, make a copy of the tileset quest file and delete the maps to start a new quest.

Really nice tileset! Thanks you!
Edit: After using the tileset some more I see lots of flaws, the messy tile and combo structure being the most critical one, followed by the lack of many tiles that should've been included. Some build-in scripts are not exactly the best and the lack of an included ghost.zh gave me complications. There's also smaller inconsistencies and errors. At least the tileset really benefits from the dungeon carving and relative modes though. All in all, I'll have to drop my rating to a 3.

This is an excellent foundation on which to build a quest. I would not necessarily want to build an entire quest using this base; though it would certainly be possible, it would be a quest lacking in variety. Considering that being a foundation seems to have been the 2.5 update's intent, though, it accomplishes this very well. My only gripe is the lack of Z3-movement-style Link tiles, really. I've heavily modified this tileset myself to include Z3-style cave tiles instead of LA-style ones, a more natural palette for the overworld, more colorful dungeons with different themes for floors and walls, as well as many other Z3 objects such as full-sized houses. But on its own, it does need some expansion if you want to build an entire quest and make it interesting.
When working with this tileset though, you WILL want combo aliases, dungeon carving, and relational modes set up. It saves tons of time.
