A long quest that started out decently but gradually succumbed to trolling, padding and all around sluggish progression and unfair overworld/level design that was susceptible to softlocks forcing you to waste an hour getting restocked and back where you were. Both punishes exploration and demands you defeat enemies on every single screen to be sure you didn't miss something critical for progression. Threw in the towel after 30 hours and on level 7, an uninspired solid 8x8 grid.

If you like quests that beat the crap out of you and make it so that you have to wade through water for 10 minutes to get from one cave to another, this is the quest for you. Otherwise, don't waste your time on it. Two stars only out of respect for the time it took to put it together.

Also, beware this creator's obsession with wallmasters.

This is a wonderful quest that requires lots of exploration and combat to successfully reach Ganon and save Hyrule yet again. Secrets are everywhere but thankfully the Lens of Truth is available at the beginning of the quest and does not require magic (at least for the basic lens but larger versions available later in the game do use magic) . . . so use it at every opportunity to find the hidden treasures. Many new enemies are encountered each with unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses along with seemingly familiar enemies that have developed new traits that you must determine in order to defeat and move forward. Seemingly overwhelming odds must be attacked head on without fear. Early in the game you must defeat a 32-head (at least) fire breathing Gleeok without a mirror shield or very strong weapon. Yes, you can secure victory if you face the beast head on and have gathered enough life and magic containers. Lots of the hated wall walkers so be ready when entering every room when in the dungeons. Also, the balance of enemy strength to weapon strength is conducive to longer fights. For example, some enemies have 100 HP and your maximum damage is only 4 so it takes lots of hits and you may get tired in some of the longer fights. To your advantage the enemy hits only do light damage if you have found the needed level of armor. The music choices are very good throughout.

Overall, this is a long, nicely developed and presented quest that is really enjoyable. Five Stars from me.
