This is visually identical to one of the graphics found in Spriteman's "Realistic Title Screen" loose tile submission. However, the palette and images have been altered, so that they can be used in any version of ZQuest that supports layering.

The preview to the right displays what the image will look like when finished. However, this will require three layers, and you will have to rip a block of three CSets into a Level Palette that will be used solely for this screen.

Well, I said I'd update this submission once it's possible to rip directly into 256-color mode. It's been possible for awhile, but now I understand the feature well enough to give detailed instructions.

The instructions, for that matter, started to become a little too sprawling to cram into this description. So, if you want to read them, check the TXT document in the zip file.

He did the graphical editing, but someone else created the sword and font. If you want to know what *I* did, just compare my submission to the image "00b.gif" in his submission.
