I'm gonna be real, I am so conflicted with this because it threw me off SO much with my initial expectations. I went in expecting it to be super short and of not much substance (going by screenshots) but I suppose I was wrong lol. This quest is wild, like it's absolutely hilarious in some parts and idk if that's even the intention for some things. I also actually liked the concept of the quest too, going through the world once, and then traversing it all again in reverse order after getting the Master Sword to see what's changed, it's pretty interesting actually. The story is fairly standard, some things are like ?????? but generally it's fine. A lot of design choices are bizarre, but that's what gave this quest charm I think, there's some truly strange quest design in here that made me wonder what the hell was going on, and for the most part that was a good thing since it kinda worked lol.
There is a lot left to be desired though, I'd absolutely work on screen design. I can see the quality kinda went up a little bit as the quest went on, but I'd definitely look into fixing up screen design so things look less bland and boring. More ground details, less repetitive obstacle designs and more varied mountain designs would go a long way, but I do think you might want to experiment with simpler tilesets on that first. I'd also suggest to consider not putting bushes on the very edges of screens, that can make for some really odd bugs when transitioning from one to another. Quest difficulty is a bit all over the place, definitely should work on scaling enemies up the further you go rather than adding easy minibosses towards the end but have tough enemies early on etc.
Overall, this was certainly an interesting quest to say the least. Lots of work needs to be put in to make it fantastic but as a starting point, it's not bad for a first effort so you should be proud you put out something lol. I'd give this one a 2.5/5, which rounds up to a 3. Decent effort, and I do realise this is 4 years old so if you are still around in some way or are still planning to make more stuff, then I wish you best of luck!
