So I went into this with only moderate expectations. I played part of the first one and was so-so on it, although I might give it another go after this. This was an extremely pleasant surprise! It is fun, challenging, funny, has some outside the box and hilarious music selections but, most importantly, many of the levels are cleverly and diabolically designed. The cotton candy level and the safe space level immediately jump to mind as some of the most visually appealing and well-designed dungeons I've played lately. Between every triforce level is one or more mini-dungeons of various length and complexity. There's a ton of content and 12 or so hours of solid gameplay. Quibbles are minor. The path forward was sometimes a little cryptic and I had to look at the designer's flowchart in the first post of the help thread several times. Several late game items require rupee grinding that involves no skill but mild tedium. You can't get the last sword unless you find every heart piece (I would have granted it at 15 hearts). But this is really fun, doesn't take it self too seriously nor overstay it's welcome, and is refreshing to play. Small warning -- quest is definitely PG-13 and not for the easily offended. I myself couldn't care less about this.
