This may be my favourite quest yet.
It embodies all that I love about fan games in general. I think most ZC quest still try to look "official", like their makers wanted a real Nintendo game, but made by themselves. Which is kinda sad, because the real power of fan creativity lies in depiction of what in official games cannot be possibly shown, in free and playful usage of familiar characters and tropes.
I liked the emphasis on scenery exploration and reading, and the lack of proper dungeons, which makes the gameplay really stand out. I liked the humour, liked the amount of optional places and things to see, liked the ability to talk with enemies, liked the idea of revisiting characters and places from past Link's adventures to see what they're doing now.
The only complaint: the waiting sequence on the ship is too long and must be severely shortened.
This 2-hour long game has more things to see than many (most) 15+ hour quests.
We definitely need more short, creative and playful fan games like this.

In this quest, you play as Ralph. Your goal in life is to protect Nayru at all costs, even when that darn Link gets in the way!
About Reviews Comments Forum Topics
Description
This quest mostly involves talking to NPCs, reading text boxes, and painfully trudging through areas in order to save Nayru!
It takes place approximately one major landscape reconstruction after Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and Link's Awakening.
It's fairly short, about 2 hours if you do everything, and are me and therefore already know where everything is.

Story
Ah, finally. Now that Link is gone Ralph can get back to fulfilling his only purpose in life--protecting Nayru! No force of darkness shall ever be able to abuse her power ever again! She shall be completely safe! Ralph is sure of it, for he is prepared this time! With his trusty sword, he shall slice through all opposition!
. . . Hopefully.

Tips & Cheats
Once you've progressed the story, there's no going back, so make sure you've seen everything you want to see first! The end of each area is usually marked with a sign, so make sure you read those!
Most of Ralph's weapons eat up rupees whenever you accidentally use them, so I'd recommend equipping the sword (which DOESN'T eat up rupees) to the A button, what with the amount of NPCs that you'll want to press A on.

This is a really interesting quest concept, definitely not something I was expecting when going into this but I'm happy with what I played. The story aspect is pretty interesting, and quite humorous too. It's nothing too grand but it doesn't take itself very seriously and there were some funny moments which is nice to see. I especially love how you can interact with almost everything even though there's some repetition with the inspection dialogue, but I won't blame you for that, there's a LOT of stuff so it's fine lol. The world building itself is really cool with a variety of areas and different events happening which makes for some really great continuity, so nice work there. The amount of optional stuff is really great too, and really nice credits sequence.
I don't really have much negatives, but some of the screen design can be worked on a bit I feel. Some places feel a bit too open and void of details and such which looks a little odd to me, and I'm not a fan of other small things like placing trees directly behind each other, but this is kind of nitpicking at this point lol. The final "boss" was a little frustrating because of constant knockback when using Nayru's Love but I got through it in the end.
Overall it was a pretty enjoyable 3 hours, I had quite a bit of fun and it was an interesting experience. I think I'll give this one a 4/5, pretty good I'd say.

I am mixed here. Every element of this quest has a pro and con. This review will contain spoilers for those who haven't played!
I really love the idea of inspection. It can invite some really nice world building and craft a fantastic world. I get this was going for something more lighthearted and comedic, but I wish the information presented was relevant to the world and story. I almost wanted to give up reading bookshelves because it was basically saying there was nothing to read. I don't know if this was the result of just not wanting to write for that many bookshelves placed, but you can always disquentisih the ones you can inspect by giving them a colour cue or unique tile. This would lessen your load to write and allow you to craft a more fleshed out world. I really loved inspecting though.
Another thing I loved, which I feel most people won't, is the linear adventure feel. It felt eventful even if nothing was going on or made a lot of sense (to me). The variety like an starting estate, a festival, a dock made for some interesting scenery. I did feel the scenery became more on the "what am I looking at" side with Koholint and the Final Estate. It felt too chaotic even for a silly quest as exploring Final Estate felt like a fever dream. But overall, I really love the premise of this quest, and I hope you make a successor, and flesh it out even more, because I feel this genre, while niche, has potential. The downside is when I did not get to fully explore an area, thinking the event trigger wasn't going to pull me forward in the quest. Cases where there's bombable walls or more rooms to explore... Luckily you CAN F6 back.
I'd say the story itself is fine. I'm not big on it from a certain standpoint, but I didn't dislike it. I found myself laughing at a few scenes and dialogue. It had a unique charm to it. I do however sadly feel some jokes won't fly well with others who are more critical with this kind of stuff, but from me you get a gold star of approval.
I feel some jokes were rather mean like the ring, Triforce, etc. It does seep into a bigger problem that there is no communication with what the player has to do and what's a sign of danger. I almost gave up at the boat and jail sequences because I think waiting on a certain screen for minutes is not something people would do first, unless I somehow missed critical information, which I don't think I did. If you want a tip on how to fix these two issues, I'd say have Ralph hint that you could just "wait here for a while" or something akin to that. It's a bandaid solution but at least people won't quit, which I fear will be the case.
Overall, I'm not sure where I stand here. I like it, but I feel it could have been something special also. I hope you continue to venture in ZC and maybe even this genre, because I think you have potential! I give this 3.5/5 which rounds up to a 4.
Oh, and the title and credit sequence was a cute touch! (And I approve the Dimitri cameo!)
