Super fun! An extremely well done quest. It has all the quality of life upgrades the original Z1 doesn't have. It feels modern and is reallly smooth.
I liked the moderate difficulty and the zippy gameplay. It gave the quest great pacing and momentum. It kept the party rolling without too many "stuck" spots.
I also liked all the weapons, items and upgrades. I'm usually annoyed by the 'find the sword' schtik, but the magic cane proved to be an awesome new addition that got more fun as it progressed.
Thanks so much for the quest!

Information
A Zelda1 style with more modern conveniences! New overworld! New Dungeons! A callback to the NES era more in the ways of nostalgia tinted glasses than what it actually was!
This quest is a must play for players who wish to relive their memories and nostaliga for The Legend of Zelda, but who consider the original game too cumbersome to replay.

Description
A brand new(*) quest in Zelda 1 style minus a lot of the awkward gameplay quirks it had. Full eight directional movements among other things are here, so don't expect it to be too awkward to play.
Features that you can expect in this quest:
1. Brand new overworld with both more and completely new visual themes from Zelda 1!
2. A full set of nine new dungeons to explore and beat!
3. Items and features not seen in Zelda 1 are put to use here!
4. A few unexpected twists here and there to the formula.
5. Charming old ladies and rude shopkeepers.
6. A fully predictable and lackluster final boss.
7. A good selection of NSF music made/ported by a wide variety of talented authors! The NSF files included should have the proper credits embedded in them!
8. A good time!
9. One (1!) whole rabbit! -costume.
What you probably shouldn't expect:
1. Many scripted features.
2. The ladder (I don't actually remember if I put it in, but I'd imagine not).
A short thing to note: I recall there being some minor bugs with overworld return points on screen or two that I may or may not have ever fixed, if you find any, please shoot me a DM or something.
*1: Quest is not actually new, it was finished in december of 2016, so it's a good few years old by now. It just never got uploaded to pure before, so it's effectively new for most people!

Tips & Cheats
Most NPCs have worthwhile hints.
Bombable walls and burnable bushes on the overworld look slightly different, so the keen eye can spot them.
Play as everyone's favourite rabbit by locating the costume in the bottom left corner of the overworld.
