After a battle with Ganon. Zelda's mother had passed away. Link was tasked to bury her in the royal crypt. But after a week and link not coming back. Zelda called forth all her ally's to talk about it. After another week, everyone showed up. And the cadence falls in front of hyrule castle's gate.
