It's pretty good. Very simplistic in a sadly sort of repetitive way. The key concept is cool but I feel like it has a ton of missed potential. But yeah, definitely solid, not bad at all. Sorry for the short review. It's a pretty good quest.

EDIT: Also I loved the string in the Potion Heart Container room. Or one of the strings. That was great. I chose the heart container : P

This was a fun short quest to kill time with. It has its positives and it has got its negatives, but I think this was around average. As simplistic as the overworld is, I think it looks nice for a typical classic style quest, the dungeons all look true to the original too and I really like the humourous dialogue throughout the quest (especially that one free will cave). Difficulty was alright for the first half of the quest and overall it was decent.

There are a few negatives though, and one of the biggest ones is the fact that the difficulty really skyrockets near the end. With the Red Ring it isn't all that too difficult, but the change is quite significant. I think the biggest problem is having to fight Ganon with just the wooden sword. Seeing how it does no damage to most enemies, I'm gonna assume Ganon can't be killed unless you get something stronger, but I wasn't able to find anything else in the quest (so that's where I just stopped, but I'll assume I was right at the end of the quest). Another thing I disliked is how blocks absorb flames. That can be incredibly irritating, especially when fighting enemies. It also causes me to be stuck in those diamond block formation rooms, where the enemy is inside the diamond making it impossible to kill until you either leave the room or F6 out of it (if you're trapped). I also noticed that you can go into Level 2's boss without the bomb bag, which will get yourself stuck. Same applies for Level 3's boss (and you missed a secret combo in the room with the eye switch). One more thing, I found the change between having no ring to suddenly the Red Ring kinda odd, but I guess that's a minor thing.

Overall, this was a short and decent quest, but there isn't anything special and there are quite a few things that do bring down the experience a bit. I'd give this one a 2.5/5, which rounds up to a 3.
