An NES-Style quest with one full overworld (divided into several different areas), some scripted bosses, and a bit more story than usual.

Stories tell of the Violet Crown, an artifact that grants the wearer awesome magical capabilities. It was supposedly locked deep within a massive fortress, the Violet Vault, for unknown reasons. Very little is known about the specifics of its power and usage, but it's enough to draw explorers from all across the continent of Hyrule, though few can go toe-to-toe with the beasts that roam the vault's supposed location. Link has been suspecting Ganon activity in the area due to the large number of beasts (and the noticeable absence of Zelda from her castle), and so he sets of to do his thing.
