This was a really fun quest. Too easy though. If you're looking for a classic NES style quest with no tricks that you can complete in four or five hours this is for you. I liked the layout of the dungeons and the overworld. I always like having to intuitively bomb my way through dungeon walls and this provided plenty of that. Also the clues were fair and logical. If the rings were harder to aquire and the enemies ramped up in difficulty more it would have been more enjoyable. Didn't even have to use a potion in level 9. Hope you make another one, BigFudge!

This is a solid, but not amazing quest. This quest did feel like an original NES Zelda game which I believe you intended this quest to be. I also did not notice any bugs, which is a credit to your testing/debugging process. The quest was very straightfoward and only took me about four hours to complete with just four deaths. The only thing somewhat unique in this quest was the portion of the 8th dungeon where you have to go without using your sword. I would prefer to have an overworld map and start with more than just three hearts after a death or restarting the game. There were plenty of fountains in the overworld though and I learned the overworld pretty quickly so neither issue became a big deal. I felt that the quest was a bit too easy (especially the bosses) and there was not much creativity. I would recommend this quest to beginning Zelda fans looking for a straightforward game that plays like the original Zelda. I would not recommend this game for intermediate/advanced Zelda fans looking for a challenge or fans looking for a creative quest with a big storyline.
