Edit: Staff contacted me an basically told me that I'd have to bump up my rating for all quests I have ever reviewed by one star. Note that this does not reflect my own opinion on the matter, or the quest, but just that it was something I was made required to do.
---------
Some effort was clearly put into this quest, and with a fair amount of more work put into it then it could probably be a decent quest. However, from what I played it's pretty darn trashy, and I can't stand playing it anymore.
First of all, the difficulty balancing in this quest is fairly bad, a curve seem to be non-existent. The quest also loves to start you of with 1 heart (out of three) whenever you die, which is kinda bad since most things will one shoot you from that position. The overworld also has terrible flow, which can partially be attributed to the terrible secrets. Nothing visually suggest that throwing a boomerang at a random tree would do anything. I found the guy who tells you where the sword is after I already found the sword..., and even then it was only by accident.
There are also plenty of other bugs and bad design choices. Most cubes in level 1 seem pushable, but no proper undercombo seem to exist. In one room it does..., but it's one of those cycling tiles that leads to floor falling away. Which I'm quite sure is unintended seeing as the direct warp goes to screen 80 and you're stuck in the wall there. Furthermore there is a wall of statues early in the dungeon that you need to bomb..., that respawn every time you leave the room so if you're dying you'll have to use another bomb to get past it. And let's, of course, not forget the room with insta-kill spikes everywhere that you can walk into, but have no way of knowing that it's going to be death.
Graphically the quest looks like a mess, tiles in random CSets that don't mix with the ground colour everywhere, etc. This quest doesn't look pretty, not at all.
I can certainly see this as someone's first project that they put some effort into, but there is a lot of problems with this quest that just doesn't make it enjoyable to play. I wouldn't recommend this quest.

This is my first attempt in creating a ZC custom Quest. Since it's a first I warn you not too expect too much. I tried a lot of stuff and tinkered around with items and trigger, so prepare for unusual and maybe bad stuff.I know there is still much to discover, learning and improving I can do with ZC so I ask you too leave some feedback for me, that I can consider in future projects. I always want to become better for you and myself.
Have fun and enjoy.

This is a very good first effort and there's a lot that I like, though I could not get very far. There are 2 big problems in my opinion: The secrets make no logical sense, because you have to hit random objects with random items. You only start with 1 heart, which is very very cruel, and I don't feel like going to the fairy or refilling my hearts every time I die. The quest would be much more playable if these 2 things are fixed.
Aside from that, this looks like a neat quest that doesn't do anything revolutionary, though is still nice. I wish you good luck with any future projects and I'm sure you get better and also get more players if you go a bit easier on them

The sword is in the lower-right corner of the 1st map....but i'm dropping this quest unfortunately. I ran into the same problems....i died 7 times in 5 seconds because of bad positioning and all that
Sorry but I'm not rating this quest for the same reason as ms_zelda_lady

I can tell from the screen shots that the graphics look like shit, I'm not trying to offend you but it hurts my eyes to look at them. Consistency bro
Edit: This is totally not for beginners and I'm no beginner, theirs fake difficulty everywhere, this seems like a troll quest to me

Sorry but this is no beginner's quest! Starting with only a boomerang is a pain and after looking for a sword in many screens I never found it. I found level 1 only to be met with invisible enemies in the first room. If the sword is in level 1 at least make enemies visible. When you die you start with one heart and since every screen has a lot of enemies that can't be killed with a boomerang is only making me not like this quest even more. When I tried to look at the map all I got was white. I'm not gonna rate this quest cause I really didn't get to far it but in my opinion this quest isn't worth playing
