This is an excellent quest. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's perfection, but considering when it was made I will instantly say it is worthy of my perfect score. It was incredibly creative, the dungeons and overworld were well-designed, and the screen design is much nicer than the screenshots would lead one to believe. I am so glad I gave this one a shot cause it was a joy to play.
My main improvements would be:
Dark Rooms (they are fine in level 3, but in level 8, they just go dark a little too quickly)
Item Switching (this would be an excellent updated feature in 2.55)
Locked Door Gauntlets (as much as I loved the dungeons, it did get a big repetitive when the end was just like 4 or 5 locked door in a row and I had to go back through the dungeon to find the keys I had missed)
Magic (it was like 99% good, but there was like a 1% that could have been improved)
A little ambiguous (this was fine and was mostly consistent, but there were cases were secrets were a bit too ambiguous. For instance, the room immediately to the right in level 8 I think could have been a bit more clear)
Overall, I would love to work with you to remake this quest with some QoL improvements. Of course with your input being the top priority.
