Information
These tiles have been popping up in a lot of screenshots lately, and it seems that not everybody knows that they come from Seiken Densetsu 3 (aka Secret of Mana 2), and are not in fact a custom edit. The confusion probably comes from the fact that they are not included in the incomplete SD3 tileset you can find in the Pure database, somewhich it would be nice to see remedied someday.
Since they're becoming more and more widely used, I thought it time to submit them.

TO USE:
Three palettes are included: DoR, Pure, and Sun Tower. Note that the DoR version of my submission "Seafoam Shoreline" is made to interlock with these sand tiles.
In either Sun Tower or DoR these may be used in CSets 2, 3, and 4, and possibly even CSet 5.
In the Pure palette these tiles use CSet 3. This is because there is no fourth brown in Pure, so it uses a dark green instead. The tile shaped like a large divot is the only one that *needs* CSet 3; the others will work in CSets 2 and 4, as well.
The tiles work well in the shown 4-tile layout, but they'll probably look best if you mix it up a bit here and there to keep them from looking too patterned.
SIDE NOTE:
These tiles used a variety of bright desert gold/yellow colors in the original SD3, so you may want to experiment with making some brighter, yellowish palettes, especially if you use them for a hot desert area.
