Mist

Description:
Decided I\'d try my hand at converting some things I\'d written to MIDIs. It turns out that Logic can indeed export MIDIs but you have to set a lot of parameters tracker-style.

This is kind of a slow, brooding piece that reminds me of old Rareware games that had Grant Kirkhope music, like Banjo-Kazooie or DK64. Its full, orchestrated, actual audio version obviously sounds much better, but this conversion turned out okay, I guess.

It should loop properly without having to set any loop parameters.

Yeah, it definitely has that Grant Kirkhope feel, like you said (especially the music for Frantic Factory in DK 64). The composition is strong, but some parts feel a tad empty--like right after the midpoint. But whatever. I'm a big fan of Kirkhope's work, and I know it's tough to write music in his style. Mist accomplishes what it needs to, and that's good enough for me.

Somehow mystical... Its nice but on some points the notes sounds a bit odd.
