I don't think it's as great as Fate's Footsteps, but it's excellent anyways.
The Hylian Phoenix OST: A Quest for Hope
Description:
Composed about three years ago for Robin's The Legend of Zelda: The Hylian Phoenix, "A Quest for Hope" was a Hyrule Field Theme meant to encompass the essence of past Zelda games as well as a distinct darkness to match the new storyline. Despite some occasionally blocky orchestration, the endeavor was successful overall and felt like a natural addition into the Zelda universe.
The process of composing this one was driven my looking at the overworld map while messing around on the piano. Somehow I settled on the key of D♯ minor, which I don't recommend writing in. I suppose you do get cool chords like E♯ half-diminished seventh, but that's about it. (I think Nuvo ended up transposing the melody down a half step when he used it as a motif in his contributions to the game. I don't blame him.)
As of writing, this song will exist in some form in Robin's Inferno, but with the Zelda references removed.
Enjoy!
