I would say that the section before halfway could be slowed down if you have the capability to do so. The rest has a nice beat to it.
Also, the bass instrument does have some tuning issues in the bottom of the register, when using midi, I don't recommend it going as low as you had it go in the beginning.

3 1/2 stars. For sound quality and instrumentation I would say this is perfect, it sounds excellent! However the composition feels disjointed, there is no unifying theme. First it sounds empty and mysterious, then dramatic, then exciting and adventurous, then sad. It feels like you are phasing in and out of about 5 different songs here. If you could have chosen just one theme, and played variations upon it this would easily have gotten a 5/5 perfect rating. Please make more music, because your sounds and short riffs are really excellent. Just work on tying it all together into a comprehensive whole.
