The quest looked great and played well.
If you are looking for one that is extremely non linear this is the one. For me this one was too much of a tangled web of finding very hidden needed items, dead ends, wondering where to go next, long winded dungeons and tons of backtracking. Nothing is given to you, and when you do figure something out its been such a lengthy ordeal that it felt frustrating more than gratifying. For me It consistently felt like work, not fun.

Description
This is my third quest - a collab quest with EddyTheOliveira. And if you know anything about how I make quests, this one is, of course, non-linear and tricky. This one is more like Quest of Darkness.
Update (from EddyTheOliveira): Changed the 3-heart restart into 50% starting health to reduce intense difficulty.

Story
One day among the peaceful years after Ganon was destroyed, there have been reports going around that a mysterious shadowy figure has been lurking around stealing Age Books from the guild of writers. Link sets off to investigate as he discovers that the doors are sealed in the Death Mountain Temple. To break the seal, Link must retrieve 4 ancient scrolls hidden around the land before continuing his investigation.

Huge thanks to Eddy for all his hard work helping me make this quest.
This quest was not possible without his zquest knowledge and help...well, it wouldn't be AS good as it turned out.
I can't forget TwilightPrince123 for his inspiration and guidance
and for beta testing. Thanks for all your on-going support Twi!
And of course, big shout out to Teamudf for helping and being the first to shcool me on Zquest.
This all goes without saying a genuine thank you to purezc and Nintendo!
And to all my fans, however small of a group you are, you all count to me bigtime!
PLEASE LEAVE REVIEWS AND COMMENTS. DOES'T MATTER IF IT'S GOOD OR BAD. THEY ALL HELP ME TO IMPROVE.

A great way to burn many hours, no issues that will force you to restart the game or anything. Which is a major plus to me as the last one I played involved me restarting the entire game twice. The dungeons can get more than a little tedious, you may find yourself in the same dungeon for hours on end.
Some feedback as a modder of sorts myself:
Most likely real bugs:
1. The 3 hit (where 1 hit = 1 wood sword hit) green slimes break into little slimes, but the little slimes regenerate into 2 hit green slimes. Is either the wrong monster, or you did this intentionally to deter health farming.
2. Music levels do not match well at all. This is especially obvious for The Gauntlet and The Shadow Temple. I go from a happy game of Zelda to suddenly worried about pissing off my neighbors and blowing out my speakers.
3. Wind Robes on way to Shadow Temple warp you to inescapable area. Easy enough to use the F6 end game thing, but having to use that one isn't appreciated.
Now onto feedback that is subjective, take it as you like
:
1. My favorite part about the original Zelda was only being able to carry 12 bombs, said no one ever. 12 bomb limit is just not fun.
2. Higher level monsters just can't be bothered to drop loot? It is fine if you want it to be rare, but when you have 2 items that actively eat rupees, the bow and the lens of truth, it isn't good at all. Leaving the ultimate dungeon to go on a Rupee farming mission just isn't cool
3. The flame boomerang's flames. These are terrible, bad, and should feel sad. They do something like .2 hits in damage, make the monsters avoid the stun you were trying to land. Honestly the basic boomerang, aside from not being able to stun certain things, is superior to this ultimate boomerang. I realize you may have imported it, but the flames are just awful. They could at least do red candle damage, if they must exist.
4. Dungeon tediousness. Ganondorf's final dungeon has nothing on your dungeons in terms of chances to redo the same 10 + rooms several times in a row. Whether it is a door slamming shut behind you, stairs several rooms back, or your WindRobe/Master Hand fetish, one way or another, the trek shall be made again. The design is actually fairly decent, but you were far too heavy handed with back to the start measures.
5. Ganondorf, optional? While this is technically true, you get punished rather harshly for not taking him out, especially if you enjoy having sanity in the Shadow Temple. In fact, this is a bit of a recurring theme for the map, you typically can only get so far doing dungeons out of order, sometimes literally unable to move without the magic piece. So you have to revisit dungeons sometimes, but still forced to do things in a certain order. Too many bridges needing repairs!
6. Step ladder functionality is lame, I know there are ones that let you go any way you like after first stepping out as long as it is within reach. This may have been intentional to make certain rooms more difficult, but the original ladder functionality of getting stuck due to the ladder is not fun.
Any who, should be proud of the quest, just some honest feedback for you there
Hope the next one is even better.
