This is not it though.

I think Anthus said it well. Sometimes a short quest that's deliberately weird/quirky/odd can make for a fun play, and that's what this was. The intentional bugs were funny. There's some genuinely decent level design and charm mixed in with the weirdness. I also don't know what half of the rings and scrolls are supposed to do, but I guess it's nice to earn an item seemingly every screen. This is a decent way to kill a few hours. Adjust your expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed.

This quest has a certain charm to it. I think you captured the "learning experience" feel pretty well. I've made it to the third dungeon, and have explored most of the overworld, and I have to say, it's a pretty fun quest. Some of the intentionally bad design choices (like virtually empty screens near the start) were kind of boring, but hey, it's not like this is a supr srs advanture. The dungeons are interesting, despite the minimalist effort.
My only real complain is, I don't know what some of the items do. I'm not sure what the rings do, cause I got one that I thought looked like the peril ring, but it doesn't seem to work that way, and I wasn't sure what the green scroll was that you get when you kill the Link clone near the third dungeon.
I'm giving this a solid three. It is a fun little romp, and can be enjoyed by anyone not put off by Classic in its bearest form.

Honestly, this quest is actually...pretty decent. Yes, you make stuff too easy to get if they're all bunched together, but there are some good signs here. Love how you did Aganheim's Tower.
This gets a solid 3. Just flat out 3, no decimal point needed. Also buying heart containers kinda made this a little too easy. My advice is if you're gonna put heart container pieces/heart containers in shops, make them cost 999. I had to deduct a full star mainly because you made heart containers too cheap in shops.
