I LP'd this a long while ago and forgot to review so here it is!
The gameplay is good, story is fine, dungeon designs are unique (Although the multi paths to hit switch to activate another got overdone to death). xD
Enemy clutter near the end in Level 10 were quite mean, especially the eight way sword throwers and that Hyperderm & Patra 3 spam. Balance for the most part was there in the first 8 or so levels. lol...
I rate this a solid 4. w00t!

Information
This is a basic linear quest that focus on battling enemies. There lies 16 heart pieces. 9 Levels and one pretty big overworld Most of the enemies their appearance in my game, along with some new enemies such as stronger versions of old enemies. Please note that I have cheats in my game. Plus this quest can be hard. Use them if you like. (This is my final update on this quest.) I fixed alot of errors and bugs lately, including the Level 8 boss fight.

This quest is in general very well made. There are a lot of good music variety, plenty of custom enemies and nice dungeons. As a whole, I feel that you have balanced almost everything perfectly. I am not 100% sure about having marked bombable walls on the overworld, but it seems to be well-received, so I'll count that as a plus. However, there are a few things keeping me from giving this a 5. First of all, the gimmick of having two paths to pick with one opening up the other is fine, but it soon overstays its welcome as it becomes abused. Secondly, the bonus dungeon is a bit ridiculous on difficulty, but being a bonus dungeon, I'll let it slide. However, the Blackout Basement rooms and that Moldorm on Crack was a big NO for me. The biggest problem is that some of your enemies are very unbalanced. For instance, early game, you can encounter red Gibdos that throw rocks in four directions. If they hit you at all, instant game over (they hit for at least 4 hearts with those rocks). Later, you have an even worse example, the Pols Voice. This guy hits to the tune of 4 hearts against a Red Ring. That is simply waaaaaaaay too much damage, considering when you first bump into them, that's about a third of your maximum health per hit.
So overall, very good quest but has a few minor flaws that keep me from giving it a 5/5.

This is a fun, engaging classic-styled quest with a fair bit of content and challenge. I liked it. There's nothing earth shattering here, and the emphasis is clearly on fighting rather than puzzle-solving or difficult exploration, but I had a good time. The challenge level really jumps between Levels 6 and 7 and Level 7 through the endgame is quite difficult. Get your powerups and potions or prepare to die a lot.
