Really beautifully composed, with good flow and perfect instrument choices. It's dead-on with the atmosphere, and its unique chord progression prevents it from being generic. This is only your first submission? Wow. Please make some more!

i love it, it just sound so pirate-y, but one thing: i would have given you 6 stars if it were ninja!

I have to say that this is well done.
My one suggestion is to study a few MIDI's around here, particularly "Five Sides to Everything" by Espilan. That song has many examples of cool effects you can do with MIDI, such as echo tracks, that you could apply to future compositions, and this one as well.
