Peacetime Plaza
Description:
It's a gorgeous, sunny day—a beautiful time for a stroll around town. You walk through bustling city streets made loud and lively by the hoards of people on their daily routines. Their chatting, playing, and laughing fill your ears and your heart. As you continue to navigate the crowds and the cobblestone road beneath you, the buildings begin to part, exposing your town's humble plaza and the brilliant blue sky above. Everywhere, vendors sell food and wares of any imaginable variety. A small band plays in a corner of the square, its sound still managing to reach and enlighten those around, from the smallest children playing tag to the elderly gossiping on the benches beside them. Yes, today, everything is bright and clear. Victory is sweet.
Put simply, "Peacetime Plaza" attempts to capture this atmosphere to the best of my ability. The MIDI took just three days to create because everything clicked unusually easily. The primary instrument is a flute, supported by a piano. A cello hums in the background and a guitar keeps the piece moving. Together, these instruments are enough to infuse the song with ample harmony—much more than is characteristic of my work.
As always, please do not dock my rating if you interpret the music differently than I do. Whatever you do with it or whatever it does for you is unique to who you are and all I can do is encourage you to enjoy it as you please. So do enjoy it.

The Beatles — One particular phrase in the background harmony reminds me of one of their songs, though its name escapes me.
Koji Kondo — I studied how he orchestrated the town music in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask as I created my own.

Wow. This is so... peaceful. I love it. In fact, I'm going to learn to play this on my Ocarina :3
Have you ever considered to go pro? I mean, Koji has to grow old one day, you know? Someone has to take his place
Keep it up Ed. You're truly one of the best composers here on Pure...
