This is my first quest ever (after playing a lot of quests, yeah), which is a fan-sequel/side-story/gaiden game to Link's Awakening. This quest will use some scripting, pretty good design choices, indirect (maybe) references to pop-culture, some puzzles, and some dungeons, overworlds, and maybe some bonus levels.

So far I like it...but I find the difficulty a bit overwhelming for the beginning. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the save system. The save system itself isn't the problem though. What I would like to see are more save points in the dungeons. The first dungeon is very difficult. I found the sword, the boss room, the boss key and such...But I have to backtrack all the way to the entrance with each item or chance losing it. Suffice it to say its even more dangerous back tracking than it is getting there in the first place. Given the enemies and what not...it would also be helpful if you could hide a heart container somewhere in the overworld before this dungeon. I'm thinking under one of the bushes. That one heart should make it from unfair to a fun challenge. That's my take so far. I do like this, so I'll try to push through.
