I have to generally agree with Gold Ring.
Definitely a fighting based quest if you're into that.
I must say hunting for a way to get any weapon can be daunting.
Blue Wizzrobes and shooting stautes galore, almost took me out of it.
It is a fully functional quest, however and well designed for the tileset used.

Information
A Big Hunk of Hyrule is a classic 8-bit Zelda quest, using only the classic items and monsters. However is it very different from the original game and contains several surprises.
It is harder than the original game but not super hard like some custom quests can be.
Give it a try

Very good classic style quest. For me, it had just the right difficulty level - challenging without getting frustratingly hard. Nice use of items, especially at the start before getting the first sword. Clever overworld and dungeon design - just when you think you're about to give up finding where to go or what to do next, you'll figure it out most of the time.
One gripe - too many blue wizzrobes. After you defeat three or four rooms full of them, enough already!
