Lots of custom content and graphics that can be quite garish on the eyes. The concept is...ridiculously funny, yet works for this sort of quest. There are some vulgar moments I didn't quite care for in a ZC quest and it did bring the rating down a good bit. You can be humorous without being offensive. You just have to try a bit harder.

This quest is horrifying, disgusting, vulgar, atrocious, offensive, trashy, insane, twisted, perverted, sick, contemptible, obnoxious, crude, obscene, horrible garbage. Also, Santa's in it. Five stars.
...
Actually, these quests (Mario's Insane Rampage and Xmas Apocalypse) are pretty great in spite of the blatant vulgarity. There's quite a few moments in them that make even me feel uncomfortable (and I'm barely offended by anything!), but this is made up by the fact that quite a few of the moments are downright *hilarious*. Graphically and conceptually, the dungeons are creative and the game uses the limited 1.92 engine in ways that I'd have never thought to use it. (The way traps are utilized as original Mario enemies is really clever, and some of the hiding places for the secret areas are actually brilliant.) I'm not gonna deny that they've dated a little bit, but they're still fun enough that if you have enough time to kill--and a strong enough constitution!--they're worth playing.
