Information
With the addition of the 2.50 databse to PureZC and the death of ZCRealm, I decided to bring this over here. So here ya go.
This was inspired by those 3 hour quests, but this took me about 7-8 hours to make, so its not really the same. Basically, I decided the only way I could completely finish a quest without losing interest would be to make it as quickly as possible and as a joke... so I did. 3 triforce dungeons, 1 final, 1 item dungeon.

This quest does have some charm to it, but there are a couple of cases where conveyors and doors can cause you to get stuck in blocks and walls. The midis are generally good to listen to, so good job there. In terms of difficulty, I found levels 3 and 4 to be a little too tricky (especially the final boss of the game, Frank.) Some people might need a small hint when it comes to finding the secret dungeon as well.

This quest is honestly terrible, the fact that it's a "joke" game doesn't even help it, because it isn't even that funny. The dungeons are frustratingly difficult due to all sorts of bullshit that gets thrown in your face on a screen (Bat-spamming wizzrobes? Really!?). What makes it worse is how you have to defeat really frustrating enemies repeatedly in some dungeons to progress, such as the wizzrobes in level 3 that only die from their reflected magic. Why couldn't they just die in one hit? I already went through the trouble of getting that mirror shield and now I feel unrewarded, and my time was being wasted. Oh and that final boss is ridiculous. Clearing the "secret" item dungeon doesn't really help level its difficulty. I would have given this quest a 1 if there wasn't some competence placed in the puzzles of this game, but it's still a bad quest.

Not terrible, but not terribly exciting, either. I do like the Zelda 2-derived tileset, for what it's worth. The difficulty spike in the last dungeon is absolutely ridiculous... although I didn't know about the secret item level, so maybe that's my own fault.
I wish there was a star rating between "good" and "bad" that was just "okay", or something. Because that's really what this quest is.
It deserves 2.5 stars, really, but because I like to be positive and I know how basic math works, I'll round it up to 3.

Actually, this quest was a bit frustrating at times, but if you find the secret item level, it makes it MUCH easier. Was finally able to finish this little quest in a little over 2 hours of play time. Thank goodness for potions! This quest won't blow you away, but it's a nice little time killer. Solid 4 stars.
