Murky Mist

Description:
This is a song I threw together after listening to myself hum; I made a few modifications to it and it's now quite handy for your underground ZC areas, If I do say so myself. This is my first music submission to PureZC.

Sounds like it could have come from Pokemon. I see what you were trying to do with the minimalist orchestration, but it doesn't deliver. It's difficult to pull off a song like this well, anyway. Good effort.

It's too short to really use for a level or anything. But I could see it being used in a horror game where you walk into a room and see a creepy little girl learning to play the piano, or something. Or at least, that's what came to my mind when I listened to it. Of course to use it for that, you'd have to take out the drums.

All this file really is as it is right now is just a basic loop using only two instruments and a few drums. I would seriously consider adding to it, as Nuvo suggested, and possibly make it more than just the same thing over and over.

Actually, the piano in this one is what I like the least... with a little bit of editing, it can be really good. Such as making the drums quieter, doubling up the distortion guitar with a bass, some creepy 16th note based Celesta notes up high really quietly, and a rock/percussive organ playing sparse chords in irregular places... yeah, that would be cool.

The piano is ok but whatever the rest is just blows, it's the same thing repeating over and over, it sounds so bad and gets so tedious that it's unusable.
