Of Sphinges and Sand

Description:
Having finally emerged from the water, I now move into an environment polar opposite: the scorching desert. "Of Sphinges and Sand" is a mysterious, Egyptian-themed piece that works well in a desert temple or its surrounding environment. I'd hazard a guess that, unlike my last few pieces, this song has minimal room for interpretation. (I'm not expecting any "soap opera" comments this time. :P)

I created this piece over the course of only three days, but I had a lot of fun while making it. It began as I started messing with random arpeggios in the hopes I'd find something I'd like. I had no clue what sort of song I wanted to create until I found a pattern that worked for me, which you will hear extensively in the dulcimer. Other instruments and their parts sprung up from there, and—voilà!—music.

There's nothing else left to say but "enjoy." :)

It's certainly good, although not your best work. But still, it's good. I would use it, if I were to make a deserty pyramid dungeon with a mystical vibe!

I dunno, to me it's kinda cliched and worn out. The dulcimer is kinda unappealing. There are better ways to achieve the desert sound is all I'm saying.

Somewhat cliche yet well executed. Good work.
