I did a Let's Play of this, which may or may not have some information in it I missed, but it's there for your viewing pleasure if you'd like to check it out.

Anyway, this quest is definitely a vast improvement over the original so far. The story change to incorporate the title of "Lost Identity" was actually quite clever, and while the story seems like it'll more or less be standard fare, it's definitely far less odd and told a little better. The atmosphere is really good, the crowd noises in the town and the water noises near the river make it more immersive. The visuals are by no means great, but they serve their purpose well and are a lot nicer than the original.

The level was fun, though the room where you fall down into the pit and kill the Stalfos to trigger the blocks and shutter in separate rooms is a bit obscure, and maybe could use a hint. The reflect puzzle room could use a cutscene showing you what it unlocks, or players might get confused. Otherwise it was a pretty solid level, even if the boss was a bit simple. Maybe try to change up his patterns as the fight progresses?

Some other minor suggestions would be to use a script so that you press A to go past the title screen instead of pressing down, which I think is the most minor suggestion and it doesn't matter if you keep it the way it is; letting you talk to NPCs and signs with A instead of R would be preferable, but again, that's up to you; also, there's a script that allows scrolling between items on both the A and B buttons, which would also be a little helpful. These things aren't necessary, just things I thought I'd point out.

I think I got everything, if not, I probably covered it in the video. Either way, you did very well on this, and I'm hoping the rest of the quest turns out like it did in the beginning. Good luck to you. :)
