See the Sea

Description:
Well, I figured I'd set foot into the music section for once. :P

"Sea the Sea" is a floaty, drifty piece intended for use (unsurprisingly) in underwater areas. The idea came to me as I was playing around on my piano and came across a certain passage that I absolutely fell in love with. I later used it as the first few measures of the song and it all evolved from there, with frequent trips from the piano to the computer and back. Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. The song has a lot of dissonance, but I tried to incorporate the right notes to make it flow as smoothly as possible. As my first song submitted to the database, I hope you enjoy it. :)

Amazing! I like this midi a lot. As you said, it's "floaty and drifty", I really like that. Also, nothing sounds off and everything fits so well together.

Remind me so much of the Keeper's Dome theme in Chrono Trigger. My only criticism is that the drum track should see a slight decrease in volume, and perhaps some MIDI reverb effects could be experimented with. All the same, the song is well written.

Lol, you can be a David Wise twin when you want be. With an abundance of sevenths and plenty of switches between major and minor chords, this song achieves a type of serene confusion, if that makes sense...

Not wrong, I might use this in quest. Or in other words: I'll use it.
