Information
Link's Awakening, demade in 8-bits (mostly just to prove a point). Surprisingly successful.
EPILEPSY WARNING: This quest contains some small moments with strobe-like flashing on the screen. These are meant merely to inhibit the player on a per-screen basis and can be deactivated by hitting a switch in the room. All such instances occur in a single, specific dungeon.

I like this quest. First custom quest I've played in a long long time. I will say, that I'm kind of disappointed that I can't claim that HC Piece in the well in Mabe. I would give 4 stars, but the bugs hurt it enough to bring it to a 3.
Also, the Push -> Wait block in the Key Cavern a screen south of the Dodongos really sucks because you can't kill the stupid Zol in the middle of the screen and you can't backtrack, forcing you to save and quit.

An enjoyable quest through and through, this definitely has the feel of Link's Awakening, but in a different way altogether. It does lack some of the things that Link's Awakening had, but that's understandable. The game stays truthful to how the world map and dungeons look and feel, and the quest was never really boring (kinda fast-paced, rather, which I don't mind in the slightest). Also, props for using the Classic tileset, as it always helps in giving an air of nostalgia.
The only reason this quest gets a four out of five from me is due to a few small bugs still present in the game, but these bugs can easily be overlooked, and the game is still very playable even with them.
Even with the minor bugs, the quest is very enjoyable. It's recommended everyone should try this one out at least once.
