Dang! This one starts out with one of the most long winded 'find the sword" bits I've ever played through. So fun (said no one ever). Nothing like starting a new quest and not being able to start the quest. Once you finally get it its only taken away in some poorly executed dungeon full of crude puzzles and a weird esoteric layout. I quit right at the beginning, a mere hour after finding the sword LOL. I could see what this one was going to be like. One star for fun and unusual colors in the backgrounds, although the world map was a bit too large, sparse and boring to play through.

There's a lot to like about this quest. First, it has as much non-linearity as any custom quest I've played in a long time. You can do the dungeons in virtually any order depending on how much you want to challenge yourself. Second, the difficulty curve is perfect. Even if you play the dungeons in the easiest order, there's plenty of challenge without overdoing it. Third, the overworld is excellent, and finally, the quest has tons of quirky humor. I like that.

I didn't like everything. I found several of the levels repetitive to the point of monotony. One in particular combined 70 or so nearly identical rooms with the most annoying thing I've ever seen. Even the custom bosses were often waves of the same enemies you just battled, although some were cool. The ending was indeed short, although the final boss may have been my favorite.

Another winner from dcsyxx overall. Keep up the good work.

Pretty good quest with some interesting uses of the BS tileset. Overall entertaining.

Other than an anti-climactic ending, this was one great quest. Being able to access many dungeons and challenge them early if you want to was kinda cool. Well planned out. No bugs. It's been a long while since I've enjoyed a quest so much. Thanks, dcsyxx!

Great quest with many different paths to take at the beginning of the quest. Lots of nice puzzles to each level but never so hard that someone can't get thru them. One of the best things is the fact that dcsyxx has answered all of us when we've needed help.
