This has some cool ideas, but beyond broken warps making it impossible to complete without cheating, but it's very backtracky on the overworld. There are no shortcuts and you never get the whistle. Dungeon difficulty also gets crazy, with bats in level 1 when you only have 3 hearts, and Stalfos 3s infesting the latter half of the game, which was made even harder for me because I didn't find the Blue Ring. It's full of inconsiderate moves like having you enter the door downwards into a Patra room even when the actual bosses aren't horrible. And they are, starting at level 6, which has one of every Wizzrobe in a room with shooting statues. You get the Red Ring in Level 6, and you might think you want to go to the final battle, which you are auto-warped to when you get the sixth Triforce. But you don't want to do that, because the final battle starts with a Death Knight and a Mirror Wizzrobe in the same room. You'll have like 12 hearts and the Magic Sword, because this quest has no Master Sword. You can't tank this with potions because there are no potions in this quest. So instead, you want to go to the bonus dungeon, which has a 16-headed Fire Gleeok, a 4-headed Gleeok, and two Ghinis you have to kill with Super Bombs all in the same room, in order to get the golden ring. And if you can't beat that, you might as well quit the quest. For a positive, I liked the aesthetics of Climax City and The Between.
