Information
This quest was made about a year before it was submitted (January - March 2006.)
I used the original tile set, but I made quite a few changes, including new tiles, new pallets, and even a new "Link." Sure, you're a blob, but what's to stop you from saving the world anyway?
This isn't a "Triforce" quest, but there are still eight main dungeons; each with an item at the end that will allow you to enter the next. Besides those dungeons, there are also two linked caves, and a ninth and tenth d [View Full Description]

This was one of my favorite quests back then. I really liked how I got to play as a blob, I also liked the cave of secrets idea. This quest was really hard too. (Let's not forget about the Level 2 Boss
) Overall, this quest was really good and really memorable!

The earlier reviews criticizing the graphics are unfair. The graphics are fine, and in many places quite appealing. You're a blob. Deal with it.
It's a fun, linear sword slasher. The dungeons, particularly the later levels, are well-designed and challenging. The final level is superb. How hard it is depends on what you get. If you get all the sword and ring upgrades, it's quite playable, despite all the fire gleeoks, batrobes, L3 darknuts, even a deathknight here and there. If you don't get all the sword and ring upgrades, you're on your own, son.
Nice job TheOnlyOne!

This is a decent quest. However, the enemy balance is HORRIBLE. Most of the later bosses are nothing but mandatory damage fests and praying you can tank out all of the damage. Level 8's boss is the biggest offender. Also, a Death Knight in level 5? No, just NO. You're just way too under-equipped to handle that thing. In all honesty, this is a great quest until the mandatory damage festivals come into play. The dungeons are nice and level 4 is some good usage of interiors in favor of traditional dungeons. Still, this is much better than the first quest I made overall. The overworld is nice and small. The final boss is a bit much, but considering the limits of 2.10, it's pretty good.
If it didn't have a swarm of bosses and level 8's insanity of a boss, I would have given this 4/5. Then again, I can tell that you learned from your mistakes nicely with To The Top based on watching other people stream it. Furthermore, I feel you put a lot more effort into Death's Power than I did my first game. Great music choices too, such as the boss remix of Luigi's Mansion, the Zero-Two theme and the overworld theme from that one CD-i Zelda game.
