It's an okay quest that first starts out feeling a bit like a strange game with a graveyard or crypt vibe? Tilesets have been darkened and the color washed out. Lots of bats and rats, skulls spiderwebs etc. Minor-ish overworld issue of enemies spawn right on top of you due to crowding paths etc close to the edge of screen, where you also can't use sword or items. As others said puzzles are not intuitive and often invovle hitting random tiles with a boomerang or later other items with no clue or reason which one to use, or even what tile to hit in some cases. By far this is the biggest problem making me not want to play. At one point I got a key for just slashing my sword on a totally normal looking corner tile of a dungeon. It feels very old school for some reason. I think the graphics and spooky music remind me of some 80's crpg a bit. It's a bit creepy LOL. Not unlike what you might find in an old crypt. A bit crude. There's whistle puzzles where you have to be standing on certain tile or perhaps group of a few tiles (they don't work on any tile in screen) with no indication of where to stand, other than you're at an impass. When you come to a dead end you just try every item, meh. I was kind of liking the Castlevania vibe but now it appears I am in Jamaica (vibe shattered) LOL. There's very strong enemies mixed in with weak ones near start of game which I thought was both cool and annoying as they will kill you in 1-2 hits when you are full health. I liked the Deku enemies. Contains a sfx.dat not useable on current version so you probably won't hear some intended sound effect but seems to still work without it. Dungeon design is the standard Z3 style. 5/10

It's an interesting quest with a unique overworld (a big swamp), with a progressive flow, but a bit hard to explore because of his complex connections. The unique use of graphics and music is what makes the quest obtain a certain identity.
The layout of the dungeons is average at his best. There are lot of trial and error puzzles, and crappy situations when you have to play the flute without any hint... or throw any random item to a statue.
The attention to detail is quite high, and one of the highlights of the quest, but other things are weird... Overall, is a quest with a certain charm, but with several big flaws that harmed the quest. With better dungeons, this could have been a great quest.
