Eckland is a really good 1.92 quest. It's got excellent dungeons, and the overworld is a blast to explore. Almost every aspect of 1.92 is used to its full potential here, and therefore the quest really holds up well even today.
Personally, I have a couple of issues that hindered my overall enjoyment of this quest. For one, around the half way point, you have to buy a good number of the late game items in order to progress. Since you are able to just take them all at once by just buying a gold rupee over and over again until you have all the money you need, you're able to have nearly every end game item in only five minutes. Getting all these items so quickly was very unsatisfying; if these items were placed in the dungeons or hidden around the overworld for you to find it would have been a more fulfilling experience. Also, because you get these items so easily, the remaining dungeons become too easy. But thankfully, these dungeons are so enjoyable that this quest is still overall really fun to play.
Despite these two issues, Eckland is still an Eckcellent quest. Highly recommended! 8/10

I started this quest before I first joined AGN back in October of 2000.... It was the first quest I worked on, and the last I'll work on... When it started it was BS-Style all the way... Then I started editing tiles, and added every feature I could possibly think of... then I stopped working on it for a long time...like six months...
