Information
Joe123 originally submitted Z1 Cave doors but he made a mistake! He forgot to include right and bottom facing doors. I didn't include any bomb doors though, but if someone requests them I'll be happy to do so in a update.

Hmmm. On the one hand, they fit the graphics conventions of Z1 caves. On the other hand, if Z1 caves were meant to have doors, I doubt they would have gone with the rock tiles they ended up using.
I see these tiles as okay, but illl-advised. Classic would do better to have some cave-dungeon tiles drawn from scratch in the NES palette. I know that's not easy, but it'd be easier in Classic than in most other tilesets.

The horizontal and vertical doors in Z1 are not as simple as flipping a tile (arguably this is true for all of ZC depending on the tiles you use.) Vertical doors take up two tiles, while horizontal take up three. These, thus, are far more justified than Rambly might notice, unless he'd like to further elaborate... ?

These are pointless. In Joe123's originally submission, you're supposed to flip (horizontally/vertically) the top/left doors in the combo page (using the H/V keys). Or you just flip them in the tile editor. Making those extra doors takes maybe like 5 seconds of effort. Anyway, I don't even think the original tiles looked that good--the perspective is strange, and I don't really like how discolored the edges of the doors look.
Sorry.
Sorry.
